Merchants are scammers, Keynesians are scammers, altcoins are scammers, Bitcoin "investments" are scammers, scammers are scammers, and even Bitcoin hoarders are scammers. Everyone's a scammer.
There is a key list of works that are simply the "must reads" of the Bitcoin space if you want to understand the true nature of the new economic incentives and the technology behind it. "Everyone's a Scammer" by Michael Goldstein, is one of those works.
